I have seen them for sale although they r very expensive. And I am not sure if you r required to have permits for them or not. You might want to check on that.

Not only do you definitely need a permit and lots of cash, but unless you are doing serious research or part of a school or zoo or something, forget it. Very hard to come by, but not unheard of. Good luck. I would love an aldabra myself, and they are a lot easier to come by, just expensive.
