size charts

does anyone know of a site that has approximate sizes for different tortoises after like 6 months then a year, then 2 years, etc.? i know they can vary drastically, but even a ballpark figure would be interesting to me

I have looked far and wide for this as well and have found nothing. I have two leapard torts and cannot find anything about growth or anyone who wants to talk about it. I have tracked the size and weight of my torts weekly since I got them two years ago - one was 6 months when I got him and one was 5 years old. I offered to post this info to share it and I got no responses.

If you find anything I would appreciate it you post it.

thanks, Ben

Depending on what you feed the tortoise (nutrional comp., etc.) and how much you feed them, the rate of growth can range greatly! I've seen HUGE differences in size and weight just based on these factors. So size charts would not be valid. The size and age of a tortoise therefore depends on the specifics of each individual tortoise.
