Whoa, I'm pretty excited my Hog had her litter today while I was
out. I must have missed the waxy stool, maybe she left it under
some aspen.

I'll post pics tomorrow. I still have to figure out how to remove
the female. She's pretty aggresively guarding her 'brood'.

Any tips would be GREATLY appreciated. I guess I will try a towel
approach, followed by putting her in the bath tub. I won't feed
her until the late afternoon, though.

Just use the leather gloves. If she does strike it will not hurt her teeth and they protect you as well. She will most likely need to eat to settle down though. Andy

She was reasonably calm. I tried to fool her and let her
come out of the cage on her own and it worked.

I'll post some pics this afternoon. 17 neonates, zero slugs, zero deformed babies. It's my first litter and I'm really
excited...
