What kinda boa do you think he is?

casey31179 May 29, 2005 09:50 AM

Well I finally got the pictures working. This is my boa that had the RI, the mites and the skin infection a few months back that I am glad to say you guys were a big help with! THANK YOU!! Had I realize what I was getting into when I bought him I probably would have walked away but I'm glad I took him. He is 100% healthy now and an awesome snake. I am curious as to what you think he might be. I bought him as a columbian red tail but don't believe that's what he is. The picture do not do him justice. He is very very yellow!

Your boa appears to be a very nice looking Colombian / Southern Central American Boa Constrictor, Boa Constrictor Imp..
Beautiful snake

BCI boa... It looks like a "normal" BCI, but its amazing to look at all the great color combination and the beautiful genetical normal animals with all their variations.. I think you have a nice columbian there and if I had put all the healthy work into that animal as you have i wouldnt care what it was, it would be priceless to me, Like all animals should be.. Beautiful.. thanks for sharing!

Sincerely,
Rose Hipskind

He is very special to me! I would never part with him. I was just curious. Besides he's my demonstration snake he does birthday parties and educational shows I think he would miss doing that he seems to really enjoy people. I am hoping to breed him this year. I picked up a normal female to go with him.

Again Thanks
Casey
