I have a day to kill there this weekend and instead of driving around wasting time like I have been known to do, maybe someone can give me some advise. I would like to see the local wildlife- herps/birds whatever. I also have a day to kill in N. Florida (panhandle), I'll probably cruise some roads at night to kill some time, but if theres any good hikes there as well I would greatly appreciate it. I have gotten great advise before from some people on here and I appreciated it so much. (Southeast Kentucky, coastal South Carolina come to mind, I had great help from people on here years ago and made my trips even better.)
