Eggs Hatched (after all that worry)

puddletater May 29, 2005 03:12 PM

We posted this picture for help with our eggs on day 35, april 30th. We were told that they probable wouldn't make it and should add water. We added water and they appeared to reinflate. I am guessing the vermiculite didn't have enough water to start with even though we started with the correct ratios. Live and learn. we were extremely worried since this was our first clutch. None of the eggs deteriorated over the next few weeks. We kept a close eye on them and on day 60 we pipped them and left them be. It is now day 63 and ALL of the 7 originally fertilized eggs hatched! We wanted to say thanks for the help and post the pics of the babies.
