My local obscure greens store has recently been stocking frisee, but I can't find any nutritional information on it. Anyone know anything about it? Where does it fall on the "is it ok to feed to my uros" scale?

Since frisee is a type of endive from the chicory family, it is probably close to endive as far as the Ca goes. From my chart, endive is listed as 13mg calcium and 7mg phosphorus, with a ratio of 1.86. I have used the chart from a box turtle website. Frisee is not listed alone. Don't know if this helps you...

Thanks, Pam! It's more than I knew, and now I feel OK with feeding it once in a while for variety - so, yep! Very helpful!
