I found 3 Eastern Hognoses while herping behind my house. All three were found about a week ago inside of a tire. They included 2 orange males and one black female. All of them were adult size. I have released the two males back at the original spot. I decided to keep the female for a couple of weeks to see if she will lay eggs. My question is: What are the chances that she is pregnant?
