Pastels??? What needs to be present to be this morph?

ragnew Jul 12, 2003 11:27 PM

Hey,

By any chance does anyone know the specific requirements for the Pastels? I've seen many of them on quite a few websites and lots of them look pretty similar to normal geckos? Are these guys just really faded? Or is there something else involved? I've also heard that these guys are hypo-melanistic, but isn't any gecko that has either faded or no black in general a Hypo-Melanistic? I've been wondering this for quite some time now, and hopefully I'll find the answer here...

Thanks
- Rich

i have a pastel, and to me, its just a normal gecko with a faded appearance. i actually like mine quite a bit though, its a soft margerine yellow color on the body, and almost white on the head. its hypomelanistic in that it has very few spots and the spots look like the gecko is in shed.

your head will collapse, but there's nothing in it, and you'll ask yourself, "where is my mind"
