Breeder who can ship to Canada?

tonguetied May 30, 2005 12:55 PM

Hi all,

Searching desperately for a reputable breeder of veiled or flapneck chameleons who can ship to Canada (Kingsnake.ca forums have turned up little in the way of breeders near by). Looking in paticular for a healthy juvi male. If anyone has any information I would appretiate a reply. Thanks!

I haven't bought my veiled yet, but I am most likely going to go to Port Credit Pets in mississauga, where there is a reptile show June 19th. If you cant make it to the reptile show, the store has veileds also.

visit portcreditpets.com

Unfortunetly I'm located in British Columbia, so Missisauga is a little far to go. However, I emailed an inquiry to the webmaster of that website, thanks for the tip.

Also Global Exotic Pets has some but i have NEVER done any business with them. I've been researching for myself and found them. So you could try there. But i repeat, I have NEVER done any business with them. I plan on going to the reptile show on June 19th. Give me an email if you'd like me to pick up any business cards with email addys for you. L.

Thanks for your help guys,
I have emailed a few online places that have the capability to ship, or I may just break down and buy one from a local pet store..

In all reality I'd be SAVING it, they have a veiled chameleon in a 10 GALLON TANK! with nothing but a little ladder to climb on...and he is sharing his habitat with a frog ):

There is also a flapneck in a cage with 10 different varities of water dragons/beardies...arent they solitary animals? I asked them this, and I was told the flapneck is one of the "rare chameleons" that can be housed with other animals. Sounded pretty lame to me... Worse off he has the tip of his snout missing!!!!

I almost broke down and bought a Bearded Dragon from a pet store too. Being kept in awful conditions, however, i was told over and over again from the people on the bearded dragon forum NOT to buy him. It only perpetuates the problem. What does the store care??? all they know is that they sold it. I did call the local human society and reported the store and my findings. Both my son (12 yr. old) and i were in tears. Hard to do but i think it was for the best. Probably not what you want to hear. sorry, Lo
