My beardie, whom was supposed to be male, was just confirmed to be female! I couldn't be happier... But thats besides the point. Im getting a way bigger cage and I need some habbitat idea's. So could you post pics of your habitats, post links to help set things up, and links to sites that teach you how to make things for your beardies cage? Thanks alot for all your help in advanced!

Were you looking to do a homemade enclosure or buy one that was already made? Were you thinking of sticking with the glass aquarium type enclosures or going with something fancier like something from cages by design? If you are looking for something really facny and have a large budget i would try Cages by Design.

I dont have a pic of my set up right now cause my digi cam is dead at the moment but basically its a 90gallon tank with a doublewide cinderblock at one end set up on a couple of bricks to provide her a "cave" and also a basking spot and a whole mess of branches at the other end that provide a variety of different basking branches.

My female is pretty large (20inches 672grams) and the 90gallon suits her just fine. If you are going with glass aquariums i would say a 75/90gallon would be good. The only thing i would say is 75g might be better because its not as tall and therefore its easier to heat and light.

Good luck!

I'm buying a glass terrarium from my local petstore Karla's Kritter's. It's a 75 Gallon reptile tank. Very nice and it's $80. Not to sure if thats such a great deal or not, but I'm willing to pay, down here it's pretty much suply and demand... I would LOVE a cage from Cages by Design, but I'm 15 and I'm only starting a job in 3 weeks. That kind of money is hard to come by when your doin' school and a job! Anyways, thanks for the help, you have a BEAUTIFUL dragon. I'm doing a custom habitat, like I'm gonna build a rock wall and everything, but I have to buy the cage....
Once again, thanks for your help!

Just for reference, that is a GREAT deal for retail price on a 75gallon. Almost a steal!
