This clutch of 10 fertile IJ eggs was laid April 5. Yesterday (May 29) morning around 9:00am one of the eggs had been slit, and by midafternoon I had this pleasant sight.

. . . had emerged by late evening. All 10 have their heads out today, but no one has emerged completely from the egg yet.
