Mexican Night Snakes

Looking for anyone with experience with these beauties. I saw one for sale, gorgeous! Would have bought it in a heartbeat but the guy says they are only eating LIVE which is too much of a hassle to feed. Says they never bite, or even strike, but are fast and wiry. Wondering what anyone else's experience is with them and if they will hybridize with other rats or corns?
Any info appreciated.
Thanks,
Minnesota corn lover

I don't think crossbreeding Pseudelaphe flavirufa to Pantherophis spp. would be a good idea. Pseudelaphe is considered as a close relative of Bogertophis, therefore it is not very likely that Pseudelaphe and Pantherophis are genetically compatible, since Bogertophis has 38 chromosomes and Pantherophis has 36 chromosomes. Even if you succeed in getting a P. flavirufa to mate with, say, a P. guttatus, you would propably end up with either unviable or infertile offspring.

If it was possible, it would have been done already.
