Well, its not really cheese, but sure looks like it.
We got my leo a new cage yesterday, one of those spiffy double-glass-door exo-terra ones. Its very pritty, I'll show you pictures later. Anywhoo, I fell asleep with her climbing the foam back wall, and making a ton of noise on it. I woke up this morning to find something in her magnetic hide, where she sleeps. Its white, with a slight pearl swirl around its edges. Its like Jello in texture, and it bends to fit the bumps in the hide. Could it be a compleatly shell-free egg? It looks like a piece of motserella cheese that is partually melted. I cant imagine why, her crickets are always dusted, and she has a tray of calcium.
Within the past week, she has ate two silkworms (She loves those things) and a minimul amount of her regular diet, crickets. Is the sudden change of diet harmful?
This is also the same gecko who has had trouble laying her one egg.
I thank you for your help, should I keep the whatever-it-is incase it needs to be examined by a vet, or can it be thrown out?
Thanks again!
