I'm not sure if my gram scale is off a bit (it's weighing the 567g new container of food at 610g) but anyhow... my daughter got a baby Crested gecko a couple of weeks ago and he's doing well, eating & getting acclimated, but I'm not sure how big they grow/how fast. He's approx. 2-1/2" SVL and according to our scale, 3grams. The petstore said he was about 5 weeks old when we got him. Does this sound about right? I've been offering baby food every day & feeding 2-3 dusted sm. crickets every night. I am guessing they are being eatten as they have disappeared & did see him catch one.

Any thoughts or comments would be appreciated.

sounds about right to me. i have a 2 week old that is 1.9 grams right now. it should approx. gain 1-2 grams every month if fed well and maintains a good growth rate.

Sounds good to me most of my hatchlings weigh 2.5-3.5 grams so yours should be doing fine. Just make sure he/she doesn't start losing weight.

are you taking into account the weight of the container that the food is in?
