About 3 months ago, I acquired a pair of leopard geckos that are approximately 6 years old. I observed them mating on May 2, 2005. On May 18, 2005, 16 days later, the female laid one egg. I am incubating the egg now.
I read that the female retains sperm and may not require breeding to produce additional fertilized eggs. I have no idea if and when I should expect the female to lay any additional eggs. I continue to check for eggs. Does anyone know the normal range of time between egg laying?
Where can I find information regarding breeding of different phases. I'm particularly enamored by the tangerine phase leopard geckos. I'd like to learn more about breeding the tangerine phase. How do I find a good breeding pair? Are there any great books on breeding for particular phases?
Thanks,
Bob
