I really liked this drawing so I scanned it in to share.

Welcome to kingsnake.com's message board system. Here you may share and discuss information with others about your favorite reptile and amphibian related topics such as care and feeding, caging requirements, permits and licenses, and more. Launched in 1997, the kingsnake.com message board system is one of the oldest and largest systems on the internet.
In this age of internet info I still like to crack open a good old fashioned book for info and pure enjoyment. The info may be outdated in some of these old books but not all of it is and what's outdated is nice to read as it gives you a glimpse into where we where and how we got here via research and just hobbyist like you and me bangin' away at breeding, keeping and collecting wild herps.

If like those, you should love this site (if you already haven't found it)......
digimorph.org/specimens/Lampropeltis_getula/egg/skull/
It has 3D pics of a Kingsnake skull and a skeletal veiw of a King in the egg yet. If you click on the movie links on the right you can rotate the skull and skeleton to veiw them from different angles. Pretty cool stuff
