I've had a few adult Southern Alligator Lizards for a few years and I'd like to looking into breeding them. Does anyone know a good source for researching what I need to do? Brumation? Photoperiod?

I've had a few adult Southern Alligator Lizards for a few years and I'd like to looking into breeding them. Does anyone know a good source for researching what I need to do? Brumation? Photoperiod?
I keep mine down for 3 months, night drop of 55-60 and a day cycle with lights (no heat,just florescent)on a timer to mimic short winter days. The day temp is around 60 - 65.

Thanks for the info Chuck. Just a couple more questions...
I'm assuming that they don't eat during this time. Should the three month period match up their natural hibernation period? i.e. November-February? Any hints for bringing them out of the cooling cycle outside of longer daylight hours and gradual temperature increases? Do males and females need to be separated during any of this?
