WELL I HAVE A BEARDED DRAGON IN A 40 BREEDER I THINK? ANYWAYS I WENT TO THE BEACH AND I GOT THE REALLY COOL FLAT ROCKS AND DRIFT WOOD. I PUT THE DRIFT WOOD IN THE BATHTUB AND WASHED IT WITH CLOROX AND THE DISWASHER LIQUID and scrubbed it really well and it dry to day. i was doing to sand it but it looks pretty smooth. Is this safe to put in her tank and my other animal cages? My mom wouldnt let me put them in the oven. some were too big. but if i put them in the oven what should the temperature be? ANd i should boil the rocks right? or just wash them with bleach and water. or do both? i didnt see any bugs in the logs but i dont know? they look like tthe ones at petco that are like 20 bucks! thank you

I did the same thing for my beardie - he's been living with the wood for quite some time now with no ill effects

boiling: 20-30 minutes

Use dried out wood. Soak in a 10% bleach solution for several hours then let dry until there is no smell. (usually a couple of days) Fumes are toxic, be careful. You can also bake it for several hours at 200F
