tortoise injury

benA Jun 01, 2005 06:04 PM

I have a 5 year old leopard tort who was fine last night when I last checked on them and then this morning he had a cut on the top of his head. It is small but bled a little. One of those scale like things looks like it got pulled off. He must have got his head stuck somewhere.

I would rather not spend the $100 to bring him in. He is acting fine but I do not want it to get infected. Is there a topical treatmeant for such a thing?

Thanks for any help,

Ben
