If there is a crust or sticky matter around the eye there may be an eye infection. You should have a vet check her eyes with a scope to make sure there is no other sign of damage to the pupil and iris before treating it. They can culture the specific bacteria and choose the right antibiotic. Most likely they will give you an ointment for treatment. I don't think you want anything with a steroid ingredient. Shower her (longer less intense spraying with warm water is better than short heavy blasts...gives her more time to rinse and clean) and give her a lot of chances to keep her eyes clean, and you can rinse the eyes open with sterile contact lens rinse solution instead of plain water. It won't sting as much. Give us some details of your gutloading, dusting, watering, lighting, temps and humidity so we can rule out any other husbandry problems too, OK?
