large nocturnal lizard recommendations?

hey, i'm looking for a lizard that is nocturnal that i can hang out with late at night. well not hang out with but you know what i mean. i don't want a leopard gecko or anything small like that. anybody have any ideas?

First thing. If you haven't kept a pet lizard before, you really should try a leopard gecko. But if you have kept several reptiles with success, i have found a good lizard for you.They sound tricky, and I don't think i'm ready for one yet, but these are large, nocturnal lizards. Good luck, no matter what decision you make!
