I'm awaiting the delivery of my new BD ... impatiently LOL. Someone type something in the forums so I can atleast read & keep busy or something! ACK this is worse than waiting for Christmas morning!!!

The tank's been set up for several days ... he's 12" long (now) from Sundial Reptiles (if you goto their sight, he's the "possible male" that is SOLD under the Corals. He was only like 9" then.
He got here right at 10:30am ... he's getting ready/shedding now, so I'll wait to get some new pics of him after that. He's so cute! He's up on his rock sun bathing atm.
at 12" is 92ish basking temp too low still? Have taken the temp w/ a digital, so I know it's correct & using a mercury vapor UV bulb in 10" dome.

Hey...congrats on your new guy. I saw the pic of him on Sundial's website....he's nice! 92 is a bit low...try to get it in the 95-100 range. Can't wait to see the pics!

I purchased Smaug at the beginning of January...I decided a while before that to get one....the breeder I chose was not taking orders for two weeks before christmas due to being so busy shipping them out for x-mas presents...so I had to wait 2 weeks just to order, the morning they were supposed to post new pics and start taking orders I was up bright and early but they didn't get pics up till around noon...you can only imagine how many times I kept checking back...then when I called the phone lines were busy for a while...I had them ship him ups...I could have had him shipped through the post officebut decided against because I work there...my hubby took the day off to receive Smaug since I don't get days off...I knew that I would go crazy at work knowing he arrived and not being able to see him till after work...well I waited all day for hubby to call to say he was here and settled in...no call...passed the ups truck headed towards my home when I came home from work at 2:30p...he didn't arrive till 5:30p...if I would have had him sent through the post office he would have been home by 10:00 am latest...Grrrrr.
