When I feed my bearded dragon I can't just put his dish in there he has to eat the pellets out of my hands. Its like he doesn't know that it is there...Does anybody elses dragons do this?

My girl doesn't like to eat off her veggie dish and it doesn't matter what kind of dish I put them on because she wants to be hand fed. She'll sit there with her mouth open and wait for me to put food in her mouth so it appears that you have a spoiled beardie like I do lol.

For a while, my beardie didn't eat out of the dish, but the trick is to have the dish within his site where he basks or hangs out. Then, if that doesn't work, move it around when he's clos eto it to induce that prey instinct. I still handfeed him dead crickets, but both misted veggies and soaked pellets, she will eat out of the dish. She didn't start esating out of the dish until i left it in there overnight and she ate some becuase i got out of bed late!
