Some sites to look at:
Breeding

Keep the female's calcium intake high and generally keep her healthy.

If the male is from a petstore he may have parasites. How do you know he is "clean"? You should also check out this site on breeding: http://www.dragonsbynature.com/breedinginfo.htm
Read over that, and if you still want to breed, go for it!

interested in breeding.....

i always believe that the BEST and surely the first step you should take is to make sure you can get rid of them, aka sell them, if you don't plan on keeping them that is. Go to area pet stores. Its better to go to them than to call. Because you don't want to sell them so some shisty pet store that'll mistreat them.

Then, if you can do such, go to some search engine like google and type in "breeding bearded dragons" and read all the information you can. most people are saying the same things, and some people have no clue what they're doing. But, it'll give you a wide spectrum of hints and tips.

beware though...there are thousands of people breeding dragons. soon competition amoungst breeders will get so intense that it will be hard to get rid of normal phase dragons. it all depends on the supply and demand in your area.

hope this doesn't push you away from the joys of breeding but honestly, it can get pretty labor intensive and stressful if you can't sell the 40 dragons you have.

Make sure that you do find a good pet store or someone to take them because even if people say that they'll buy them sometimes they back out. I have 11 eggs incubating right now and I've had at least 6 people back out already. I'm not overly worried about the babies going to new homes because I deal with a wonderful family owned pet store that will take the babies from me if I can't sell them or give them away on my own but you do need to think about that before breeding. Mine was a complete accident since I was told that my dragons were the same sex when I got them but as we all know things happen. If your female does become gravid don't freak if she doesn't eat very much or anything for about a week before she lays her eggs. I learned that the hard way because my girl didn't eat for exactly a week to the day before she laid her eggs but after she does lay the eggs make sure you get her weight back up fast because they can lay eggs again in two weeks from what I understand from my research so give her anything she wants to eat with a lot of calcium. I hope your breeding goes well if you decide to breed.
