Some yearling T Positive Albino Nic pictures for Andy!....

Amanda_Burke Jun 02, 2005 05:18 PM

Most of our babies are in a shed, but my dad was able to get pictures of these two kiddos from our litter last year. It's amazing how different they all look with their range of colors, and what I also love is that the intensity of their color changes day by day. Sometimes the color is softer and then other times it's blinding! lol

This one is somewhere in the middle of the color spectrum, in terms of the saddle and tail coloration, and the color coming in on the sides. Some have saddles that are more of a deep pumpkin color with a purpley reddish tail. I'll have to get some pictures of one like that once they all shed, but in the meantime, here's the first one...

This second one is definitely one of my favorites because she's in a category of her own when it comes to color! All of the others have a more caramel base color, but this one is the only one with that gorgeous pale lavender color and a neon orange tail. I wish my dad had gotten a pic where its tail wasn't covered so much - next time! lol I've never seen a boa with the colors she has...her tail reminds me of that hot orange color that was popular in the '80s! lol

Thanks for looking!

those pics. I love seeing the differences in coloring.

I can't wait to finally have some of my own. The mother of my hets is a gorgeous orangey Cancun and I'm hoping her coloring will influence the visual babies. I think my eye gravitates more to the one in your first pic......however, I love'm all......How could you not? What I really wanna know is, how you guys can keep from holding them all the time

As a matter of fact, if I could carry those suckers around in my pockets, I would!! lol Every time I look at them my dad laughs at me because (aside from the fact that I talk to all of our boas! ), I "Oohh!" and "Ahhh!" at the T positives like its always the first time I'm seeing them! lol

Good luck with your hets! I'll bet that you're right...the color from the Cancun should add some really nice oranges to the color on the visuals. Are you expecting some this year? I'd love to see how they turn out!

Take care,

Those are super nice Amanda! I look forward to producing some of those guys! Here is a pic of one of the young t+ Colombian boas so people can see both the CA t and Colombian t look. I think each are cool, which is why I have both!!

I have only seen pics and I'm sure they are even more amazing in person.

Although I don't have a visual CA T pos to hold and drool over...yet....hopefully I will someday soon, if the Fertility Goddesses are so inclined.

I do have the Colombian flavor and they are precious beyond words. When people come to my house and see my boas, they are usually the favorite because they are so visually stunning, especially under bright lights....they seem to glow. My conclusion is: There are too many pretty boas and I don't have enough room - or time - to have them all waaaaaahhh!

AAAHHHH both of you are killing me LOL! I love them both. Hopefully we'll be able to get some of those guys this year too! The T Colombians and the T Nics are SO different looking. Both are very cool in their own ways!

Thanks for posting that picture Tracy!

And thanks for sharing the picture of one of your Colombian T Positives! It's beautiful and I agree with you that both are cool...the good thing about them is that each will add a different look when combined to any morph. It will really make all the existing projects so much more exciting because now there are two as-yet unseen twists on everything out there and I bet both will be spectacular in their own way when added to all the morphs that have already been produced.
Good luck with your projects this year!

With three different forms of T positive Albinos and Three respective motleys there will be a lot of crazy pattern and carmel color in the fiture of boas, at least for Argentines, Colombians, and Central Americans!

What if there was T Positive Bolivian amarali?!!!

I'm sure I'll be posting more pics in the upcoming days/weeks. I've been bugging my dad to take pictures because I can't see any of them in person for the next two months, so as he sends me the pictures you'll all be bombarded with them! lol

Hey Amanda, Those are Just AWESOME looking. This is BY far one of my favorite Boa projects, and one that I think has a very bright future. That is why we Both invested so much in them RIGHT?? LOL

Anyway, Sorry I didn't answer your question below. I got burried in time, and the post is sooo low, I thought I'd answer it here. The HETS I have are only 18 months now (Well now close to 2 years old). I really don't breed girls taht young anymore after a LOT of lessons learned the HARD way. So, I'm waiting for the 06 season. I hope to breed the HEts to Motleys Het T pos, the Hypo Het T pos, and to the T pos in the 06 season, so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed for the 06 season. That will be my first chance a VISUAL T pos other then the 2 Males I have now.

However, I did sell a pair of Hets the first year to a customer who DID breed his at 18 months, and they are due any second. So, he should be producing some VISUAL T positives this year. You never know with Boas though untill you SEE them alive and crawling. He is VERY excited, and told me if he did have any, he would probably be keeping them all. I don't Blame him. LOL!!!!

Anyway, BEST of luck in your projects. Those are just AWEESOME SNAKES!!!!!

Take Care, Jeremy

Amanda_Burke Jun 03, 2005 02:24 PM

I agree with you on not breeding the females at 18 months, it's just not worth risking the health of the animals. Those are some really exciting prospects for 06 though!!! I can't wait to see the T positive Motley and Sunglow!!

I don't blame your customer for wanting to keep any that he has this year...we *basically* did the same thing last year. They're too hard to part with, especially when it seems like I have a different favorite every day! lol

Good luck with everything this year,
