Thawed Rat Question

amoeba14 Jun 02, 2005 05:54 PM

Hey guy, I defrosted a rat this afternoon but my ball didn't take it. Can I put the rat in the fridge (ziplock) and save it for another day? If so, how long can I hold onto it without it getting funky?

Thanks for the help,

Tim Savard

Yes, you can refreeze the rats. I usually don't refreeze them more than two times but would be interested in knowing how often others do it.

I'll re-freeze a rat one time, but when refused a second time it goes to my Alligator Snapping Turtle...(when she sees me she'll open her mouth in the hope something will drop in).
