I've cut down on my colony but i've kept many pairs; as babies they're unique in that they do a bit of a "reverse crawl" when nervous. They are known for temporary hunger strikes and that seems to vary on the individual. Some stop feeding at the hint of a season change while others never refuse a meal. Either way, they know what's best for them and they have all been 100% healthy.
Mine have always been tame as adults and the colors range from dark green to blueish (is that a word?)to various grey/green colors.
Email me anytime if you have specific questions about their husbandry.
Cheers,
Tom
