No, they can malfunction causing severe burns. Dragons need bright light, rocks don't help with that. Dragons are used to heat from above not belly heat. All in all they aren't a good idea.

Heat rock have caused serious burns on many reptiles legs, tummies and tails. They are not safe in heat output and reptiles do not have the nerve sensitivity to move off them when they are burning them.

i love heat rocks, i get them cut off the cord, steralize the rock and add it to the tanks, then i have a cord to use for my flexwatt. that is the only way i use heat rocks, any other way is too dangerous
