Croc Monitors

DEUGAN Jun 02, 2005 07:41 PM

Hey,
I was wondering if anyone out there had some pictures of their Croc monitor enclosures? I am interested in the enclosures dimensions, and lighting, as well as the SVL of any individuals within the enclosure. Also, materials that are used within the enclosure. For instance the pros and cons of using screening vs. wood. Thanks for your responses.

This is my starter cage I am raising my CB Croc Monitor in. I have made some changes since I took this pic, more branches and cork bark for the floor of the cage.
This cage is made of pvc. Once this cage is outgrow I have made cage plans for fiberglass. Being from Maine I have alot of friends that build boats that can make me something BIG and nice at the same time.

What size is your CB Croc currently? Also, how big is the starter cage? Very nice looking enclosure.

The monitor was around 18" total length, it has grown 5 inches in 3 weeks.
The cage is 36*32*48

When I lived in Maine I lived in the mid coast area, I moved to Plaistow around 4 years ago.

Thanks

Eli
