brown FBT

i got 2 FBT on tuesday.i want them to turn that pretty green color.but they stay brown.how can i get them to turn green?

One reason that it is brown is because it may not have good living conditions or stressed. I'm not saying your not taking care of it or anything.

Keep the water very clean, and keep the whole tank very clean and that should help, it chnage a green color.

Also the FBT's just might be a brown morph of the species. I got one like that too. I've had it for 7 months now and it's still a brown color while the other 2 are a green color.

So you might just have to deal with the brown color.

See in the pic one of them is naturally brown.
