In about a month (give or take a little) I will be getting my first pair of boas. They are 100% het for albino and have nice stripes. The thing I have been thinking seriously about is when they come of breeding age, whether or not to breed them together (they are siblings). I have been thinking baout trading the male for another 100% het for albino male and thn breed but I don't know. I know that breeding parents to offspring is fine in most cases but I have read that breeding siblings together can cause some bad effects on the offspring. I don't know what to do.lol. I know it is my choice and no one will decide for me, but I could use some advice. Is there anyone that does breed sibling to sibling? I know some of the babies he has have stripes, I don't know if it is genetic or what, but I will ask. for some reason i did not think of that till now. but thanks in advance.

there are so many out there that you really don't need to. Your idea of trading it for another male would be ideal but you may want to try doing that with someone reputable. Or save up and get an albino male . Ultimately the decision is yours, good luck in whatever you choose to do.

Thanks. I liek the idea of getting an albino boa... That is why I decided to get some hets. I am too cheap to by the real deal so to speak.lol. I am going to be thinking about this for some time. I guess what I'll do is if I find a reputable person with 100% hets and they are willing to trade then I'll trade but if I can't find anyoen then I will just breed them together. Thanks again.
