An Unbelievable Story

Obediah2 Jun 02, 2005 09:30 PM

I am a math teacher and volleyball coach in California and one of my students gave me an albino kingsnake in October. I am pretty laid back as far as the students handeling the snake (that IS the point after all) and due to this he tends to escape from time to time.

He has been missing for about two weeks, and yesterday I went into school early to print some papers for the end of the year volleyball banquet. When my paper came out of the printer, there was a snake skin stuck to page, and the printing was right over the skin.

I started to take the printer apart (I was a little nervous) and I found the rest of the shed, but no snake. I finally removed a piece of plastic to reveal the snake comfortably living beneath the paper tray...no moving parts around!

Anyway...here is a picture of the skin.

I'll start the bidding at $1000!!!

good luck out there,

Jake

That far better than any escapee story I've got. Of course, there was the time my wife sat on the toilet and then saw a head poke out from under the rim.... we're still married.

My grandmother likes to tell the story where she got up really luck and was quite not to wake her husband...she went into the bathroom and didn't turn on the lights...she sat down on my grandpa...who was already in the bathroom, trying to be quiet...:O)

That snake skin is awesome...I have a friend whos collared lizard lived in his printer for a while, but no skin to prove it LOL

I work in Walnut, Ca and last year a Whipsnake found its way into one of the offices in my building and setup shop underneathe a computer that was sitting on a low stand on the ground. One day a fellow employee moved the computer to find a snake shed and a couple hours later the snake was found cruising down the hallway. After stinking the hell out of my hands, It was released.

Actually, I had a 7ft super tiger retic that got out and made himself at home in my All-In-One Printer. I walked over to my pc and I was like wth? lol cause there was a lot of him sticking out of it. I have pics on my home pc (Im at work). I guess they like printers cause they're nice and warm.
