I thought it might be both interesting and informative to share with each other the nature/reptile photographers and their web sites that most impress you .....

Here are a pair that I really like.....

http://zoltantakacs.com/

http://lanting.com/

Which ones most influence / inspire you?

I hadn't seen those web pages before. Great photos on both of them. One web page I've found that has some good macro work is http://www.mplonsky.com/photo/

There are several good photographers posting pictures on nikonians.org as well.

Cheers,
WK

Hi all,

The site for photos of....just about anything Australian is:

http://www.antphoto.com.au/main/

Its a photo libary with the images for sale..but you can browse and look.

As for influences....I was taught the basics of Herp photography by Ray Hoser (his site is www.smuggled.com.au) since then I have developed my own style but are influenced especially to the images taken by Steve Wilson, Rob Valentic, Ken Griffiths, John Cann and Gunther Schmida.

Ken has written a great little book called Nature Photography that is availible from a number of places, one that comes to mind is Andrew Isles Nature Books (www.andrewisles.com.au) for about $15.00 Au.

Regards,

Scott Eipper
