Banana Ball Genetics....more

eighteenmonther Jun 03, 2005 12:39 AM

Does anyone know what they are, simple recessive, co-dom....? And, are there any breeders with any adults and/or baby pics on their websites with prices( if already for sale)? I thought it might be too soon for them to be in the market. That banana clown was gorgeous.....

Thanks

They are some sort of dominant until a super form is proved or not proved. You can check out www.newenglandreptile.com for both adult and baby pics. Also, Will Slough's site, the man who produced the banana clown is http://bananaball.com/bball.htm. NERD calls them coral glows and whitesmoke albinos, but is believed that they are the same trait, because their line was founded by their orignal imported whitesmoke male. I can't give you a price, because to date, I don't think any have been offered for sale. I also agree that the banana clown is stunning. Hope this helps...

Actually I beleive that NERDS line originated from their imported white smoke male, Wills line originated from an imported female that I think he still has. People are speculating that they are the same mutation based solely on looks but both lines started off with different wild caught animals.

I heard Kevin and Will got together at some point to compare notes and concluded both the Coral Glow and Banana weren't the same type of mutation!

They sure look the same as hatchlings...
