Hello, i am a college student in the Pittsburgh, PA area and i wanted to ask where do you guys buy your tanks? At my local pet stores, i haven't seen larger than a 55gallon(what i have now). I only have one beardie now, but she is getting big and i plan to get aleast one more. That for any info you have!

I'm in VA, so don't know specifically for where you are, but some places to look are thrift stores, reptile rescue groups & the trading post. Our local rescue group often has cages for sale at really good prices and the trading post (not sure what it would be called where you are... free ads/free trader, ect?) lists things people are selling/trying to get rid of.

Good luck!

Hello Sara,

Try this http://glasscages.com/ I believe they charge $1 a gallon + shipping.

I live approximately 30 miles south of pittsburgh...I bought my 75 gallon at Elmers Aquarium...they have a website...a large se,lection of tanks...I paid $100.00 for it which was much less than anywhere else... even less than some 55 gallons at petsmart, etc.

you could also check with the local pet stores, especially if you have a large tropical fish supplier nearby. sometimes they will sell old display tanks or leakers cheap. there's a store near baltimore called the aquarium center that does .i got a 75 gallon for $50 and it looks perfect just won't hold water.
