It seems as if this year is going slow. I remember last year, not being able to keep up with sales. What Gives? Any suggestions? Here are some of my little mouse machines.

I love that Dum at the top of your post! Can you post some more pictures of him or her? It looks like a hypo!

that your sales are slow... those are well above average as far as color goes. Dumerils prices have been pretty solid since 2000, $125-$175 quality dependant. But I said this last year... as long as color morphs are not readily available Dumeril boa sales will continue in their mediocrity(when compared to boa constrictors).

Whenever I hear people complaining about down times in herps, I wouldn't even notice if it weren't for the internet. Right now, my locals are stepping over each other to get a Dumerils. I haven't even brought them out on display and I won't be letting them go until they've shed once(not counting birth shed) and fed twice. Even at that, almost all of mine are sold, prepaid.
I remember back in 96 or 98 when the "so-called" herp crash took place... I was like, what crash? My sales were booming, the crashes were regional. The problem is a lot of breeders expect to sell out the first month that they have offspring... that does not usually happen. Those same breeders will tend to panic and start to sell wholesale to the public... that brings about these sagging markets. My advice to any breeder who is not happy with sales is to take one for the team and sell them to a "wholesaler" or a petshop. Rather than "cutting out the middle man" and in turn, artifically deflating the market online.

I'd buy one or a pair in a heartbeat, but the economy has been harsh this year. Maybe that has something to do with it? I've noticed similar trends with birds, seems when things take a downswing most exotics end up the first thing people stop buying. Your snakes look great
