waxworm breeding

hi i was wondering if anyone out there has any info on how to start a colony of waxworms, i heard that you can mix oatmeal and honey together to feed them, does anyone out there have any suggestions.

Mix oatmeal and honey so you have a slightly sticky crumble. Put this in your breeding container with loosely crumpled balls of waxed paper. They waxworms will cocoon in the substrate and the moths will lay the eggs on the waxed paper.

They are pretty easy to get going but take care to contain them well. The hatchling waxworms are tiny so you will need a very fine mesh to contain them.
