Veiled Eye Problem?

onfire_4jesus Jun 03, 2005 08:48 AM

My veiled chameleon has had a sort of bump underneath the skin on her eye. You can only see it when she is looking back. She does not have any discharge/crustiness and never keeps it shut except when sleeping. What could be the problem? I dont believe there are any reptile vets in nebraska. What should I do?

Its really hard to say. I think I would watch to see if the lump gets larger or the eye seems to have problems. In the mean time I would start searching around for a vet just in case you need one. On this forum's resources page there should be a list of known herp vets by region. Check it out. At least you'll know ahead of time where you might have to go to see one.
