Mosquito Control

noaspop Jun 03, 2005 10:42 AM

Any suggestions for an outdoor enclosure? I live in the Mississippi Delta area and it takes like 2 seconds for standing water to gather 100000000000000000000000000000000000000 larva in it. It seems like even filtered water gathers them.

Thanks

A few mosquito fish, Gambusia sp., do an impressive job. They are livebearers so they reproduce themselves easily and don't have to be re-stocked. They are native, so you can collect your own and don't need to worry about introduced species concerns.

And they add a little more visual interest to your pond.
