How long does mineral oil take to help poo?

AlteredMind99 Jun 03, 2005 11:17 AM

I gave my beardie 1cc of mineral opil orally yesterday, she weighs 672grams, should this have been enough?

Im wondering how long it is supposed to take to work, today there is still no poo. I dont want to give her more cause im worried about giving her too much. If there is no poo tomorrow we are heading for xrays.

Anyone know how long it should take?

Give her one more dose today and try warm bathes a couple times throughout the day if your aren't already.

Sometimes it can take a couple days.

I read your post below (just yours) and it sounds like you are doing everything right.

As far as anything else acting as a natural laxative, when I gace my BD's baby food every now and again, they were VERY regular.

Hope this helps.
