Just thought I would share a funny experience.... Hope went blue and I put her in her spagham moss hide to make sure she had a good shed. Her color went back to normal and I waited and waited for her to shed. She was probably in her hide for 4 days straight. Well I took her out of her hide last night to change the moss. and the second she was out she shed. Litterally the second she hit the substrate she was peeling her skin off. Got pictures but havent had time to post them. Also, I was wondering... is measuring her shed a good way to measure how long SHE is or does the skin stretch? Because her shed is 19" and I THOUGHT she was closer to 16"

It sounds like your girl is doing great. In my experience shed will stretch quite a bit. I would say on average at least 20 percent. That puts your girl right where you thought she was, about 16 inches. Keep on herping!!!

Thats pretty funny

As for the length I don't measure mine at all, I just use my digital scale to make sure they are growing.
