Neither of my 2 leos will eat mealworms either, though they gobble down crickets as if they were candy. I dont think it is really a problem, I'm almost certain that crickets can be fed as a staple.

erm are you sure your feeding it enough? because im sure that sounds very little food. my baby eats that a day. ive heard that juvies eat even more. not to sure about adults but i thought they ate every other day so every 3 seems a bit infreequent and not alot of food each time. but im almost certain crickets can be fed as a staple

I agree, sounds as though your geckos aren't eating alot at all. Crickets can be used as a staple but I much prefer meallies. Meallies fatten a gecko up too. Slowly transfer
you gecko to meallies by putting a bowl of meallies in the cage and offering a less amount of crickets. After a while they will eat meallies as much as they crickets.

What I did(though this may sound mean) is I STOPPEd feeding crickets and offered only mealworms. I wouldn't do this to a lizard if it began losing weight, though. Now my leo eats mealies like none other and I'm breeding them, which is very easy. By, TImmy

I have no idea what's going on. It's more fun that way.

he gets plenty to eat i put a few crix in there and wen he eats all of them up i will put like 2 or 3 in there for him to munch on when he gets hungry but i have a dish in there with meal worms and he will just walk ight thrugh them and not even think twice about them. he will even run through them to catch a cricket but thtks for your opinions. peace
