OT ... Random Macro shots

CE Jun 03, 2005 02:40 PM

I work accross the street from the local nature center so I often take a walk down the trail for lunch...with the camera of course. Here's a few shots taken over the last few weeks.

Wow! I've always enjoyed your pictures, but these are absolutely killer!! I really liked the bee collecting pollen and the dragonfly - top two in my book.

Very cool CE! I love the shots of the bee with pollen on it.
Would you mind ever so much if I used that pic and the dragonfly
on my desktop wallpaper on my PC at home?

Wish I had money for a good camera!
this is about the best I can do for close ups lol

with my 2.0 camera.

thanks for sharing the OT pics!

Well done. I love the one with the bee that has pollen all over it. I cant wait until I buy a new macro lens. Later

in most shots the sigma 150 2.8 Macro..great lens, alot cheaper then the nikkors. And yes the camera is a D70.

Thanks

It will be my first leap into the DSLR world ... cant wait!

I was debating on the new D70s but the D50 is a bit smaller / lighter of a camera and is said to be a bit more SLR newbie friendly.

Going to start of with the stock lens kit ... maybe a nice macro lens later.

The D50 isnt released yet (july 6th is what amazon has listed). This is the only review I could find (japanese) http://dc.watch.impress.co.jp/cda/review/2005/06/06/1651.html
