food question...

denise1 Jun 03, 2005 05:44 PM

from reading previous posts, I wonder....how often should a 6month old be fed...I thought you fed them crix twice a day until they are adults...which I have been doing with Smaug, although most of the time he will ignore the crix...I have heard sometimes they slow down their eating around 6 months and then will go back to eating more after awhile...I thought this might be what he is doing...otherwise he is perfectly healthy....

Basically, i offer leave a salad or pellets in her tank overnight and she will munch on those when i mist them in the morning, then in the afternoon i offer her crix, which she will inhale. about once a week or so i will offer her silkworms in the evening.

So far, she has been very healthy and active.
