half laid egg

One of my breeder anoles started to lay an egg yesterday, but hasnt' finished yet, and now the egg looks like its dead. Im kind of concerned about an infection and whatnot. any suggestions how to go about helping her, or if this is normal with anoles? thanks -Bari

If you mean that the egg is still hanging from the anal vent than it would be a good idea to try to remove it.
