If yours is in a glass cage then I suggest buying suction cups with hooks and then buy those cheap $3 plants at Petco and hanging them in the back. It actually looks really neat. Also you can get some driftwood and just put it on the floor of the cage and that's pretty neat too. I made a cage and it has a rockwall in it, although it's not quite done yet. If you're interested I could post pictures of that. Otherwise, good luck!

Here is mine. It is a 50 gallon breeder (36 by 18) and it houses one male 17-inch dragon. Sand is the substrate along with flat pieces of slate layed down in it here and there. The cave I made with slate I found on lake coasts that I boiled. same with the driftwood. My cat broke the sliding screen it came with
so I bought some thick rabbit-hutch-looking wire at home depot and just cut it and bent it to make a new, very sturdy lid. A whole $5 and I made screen lids for this tank plus a few more smaller ones. The background is just the paper kind you get at the pet store.

I can't figure out how to get my pictures onto my computer but for my 17 inch dragon I have him in a huge rabbits cage and covered it with a wire screen so he couldn't get out. I'm not sure of the exact dimensions but it's around 4 foot by 4 foot and about 2 feet high. Inside I have driftwood and big river rocks that hold in heat. I have 2 basking sites and shelf liner as the substrate. I raised him on sand (b/c I didn't realize it was bad) but soon realized that shelf liner is SOOO much easier to clean!! Also the sand I had him on (orange calci-sand) used to turn him orange and in turn my clothing and carpet orange. The sand would cover everything in and around my cage and was just gross! Hope this helps, sorry it's so long.

Posted not long ago but here it is again

This is the 6' display case I turned into a home for Cajun & Creole.
I'll be making another rock wall for our German Giant female in the next week or so--finally got all of the goods to do it now I just need the time!
This is a 75 gallon. Shelf liner substrate. Cost to build rock wall was less than $25

There are lots of different ways to build these. There is a cage design forum here on Kingsnake that has lots of helpful hints.
(I did measure to make sure I could easily take this formation out of my tank.)
I used plywood as a base for the back and sides then attatched 'shelves' of plywood using angle brackets. I then used liquid nails to glue 1 inch styrofoam to the plywood. I made sure the edges of the styrofoam were uneaven--i just used my hands to cut/tear it. For the stairs and cave support I just stacked a few layers of styrofoam and glued them together. I used some spray foam (crack sealer) to fill in any gaps and add additional texture.
I let this dry for a day and then covered it with colored tile grout. I used 3 thin coats of grout--letting it dry a day between each layer. I then let it dry for a few days and then applied a poly-sealer (make sure it it water soluable so you will not have bad fumes). I let the sealer dry a few days and then it was good to go.
I'll try to take pictures of the steps I use when makeing my next one in a week or so.
