Ello,

Im going to make a vivarium for my leopard gecko and i read in the Leopard gecko Manual that its ok as long as u have the lightin and come from simular conditions and i was wonderin if i could put sandfish or leopard lizards because i had them before. I know its not good to add other animals with others but ive done it with a crested gecko, long tail grass lizard, ground skink, unknown frog/toad, and 3 green anoles. and that was in a tropical vivarium with some plants. i dont think it can b any different so if any1 can tell me if they done this b4 and what happened and what animals and the size of the tank that would b a big help

Thanks
Paul

Don't ever mix species UNLESS you have a very big tank that would have the room to accommodate both. I would go ahead and not take the chance and house them seperately.

well its a custom built cage thats is 4 feet long 4 feet wide and 3 feet high so i think that is ok and im planing to put rocks and all different deserty stuff in it so there is places for the leos and place for w/e unless i get sandfish wich dont need really anything. i understand what ur saying also and i think this is big enough

If you're going to mix, they must have similar conditions and be different activity types. I. E. Dirunal and Nocturnal. HOWEVER, I know that you can successfully keep Fat tails and Leopard Geckos . . . been doing it for over a year now.
