Dude why would that stir up things. Balls can be a pain in the butt to feed. Especially for a newbie. They don't understand things that well. I personally do think boas are better beginer snakes, besides the size. Boas are much more forgiving of husbandry errors that newbies make. Just my opinion. I do own more balls than boas though. But when I started out with balls I was pulling my hair out.

I cannot understand the feeling to have non-feeding snakes. My two BP have a really good feeding-response. When they see food they don't think twice but grab it directly. Also during their shed they keep eating like crazy They have never missed a meal. Well, to be honest my oldest BP, male, didn't feed in the first three weeks after I got him but that was because when I got him he was very ill and almost died. So he was fighting real hard to stay alive and didn't have the energy to eat. But when he got better he immediately started to eat and never missed a meal since.

But when I hear other people who have difficult BP I do understand that it can be very stressful.
