my female has laid three clutches this year of one egg each.
the first egg i found just recently and found out it was actually the second (which is now incubating due in mid july - early aug). the real first one must have been laid just before i moved her to another cage. the cage had a few inches of eco earth and she hid it very well. so i was cleaning it out and found the real first egg dried up because i wasnt misting the empty cage.
she layed the third clutch (single egg) last night . it was sterile, she ignored the nest box and layed on the paper towels, its very dented and yellow and brown. it smells too, it looks way different than the one i have incubating.
so my question is how common is it for her to lay one egg three times in a row? and also she still looks plump, could she possibly lay another tonight or do they lay both at once?
